Ljungdalen’s Hemslöjd and café are located in an older beautiful house close to the school. It is one of the county’s finest handicraft boutiques with beautiful and genuine crafts of all kinds.
Nowadays you can settle in the cozy environment, among all the artworks and have a coffee at the cafe. Here you will always find homemade pastries and delicious sandwiches, so-called “Ljungdalsklening”.
Upstairs you find the weaving looms and here the diligent women of the village weave their artwork or carpets. Here visitors to the village can also come and weave their own table cloths or carpets. Activities such as courses, knitting & embroidery café, workshops for children and adults are organised on various occasions.
Hemslöjden started as early as 1978 by the village’s women as an economic association.
